From the North and Northeast: North: From 695, follow 1-83 South to its end. You will be on President St. Go to the 3` light and turn right onto Lombard St. Continue about 1 mile and turn right onto Paca St. The campus is accessible from I-95S (take the Fort McHenry Tunnel - toll) to 395 (downtown Baltimore), and exit onto Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, staying in the right lane. At the 2nd traffic light, turn right onto Pratt Street. Turn left at the 3rd light onto Paca St. From Washington, D.C. and points South: Via 1-95: From 1-95 take 395 (downtown Baltimore) and exit onto Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., staying in the right lane. (Follow directions from Northeast above.) Alternatively, you may take Russell Street exit, which becomes Paca St. Via I-295N (Baltimore Washington Parkway): As the parkway enters Baltimore, it briefly becomes Russell St. and then Paca St. From Annapolis and Southern Maryland: Follow Rt. 50E to I-97N to 695W (Baltimore Beltway) to I-295N (Baltimore-Washington Parkway). As the parkway enters Baltimore, it briefly becomes Russell St. and then Paca St. From the West: Take Rt. 40 to Greene St. Proceed south on Greene St. and left onto Baltimore or Redwood Streets. Left onto Paca St. Alternatively, you may take 695S to I-95N. From 1-95, take 395 and follow the directions above. From the East: Take Rt. 40 to Greene St. Proceed south on Greene St. and left onto Baltimore or Redwood Streets. Left onto Paca St. Parking is available in several locations. From any parking lot, walk towards Redwood St. and proceed west to 525 W. Redwood. PLEASE NOTE: Do not park at the parking lot directly across the street from the School of Social Work. This lot is exclusively for hospital patients and staff; the cost for all others is $25.00. BY LIGHT RAIL: **Light Rail train service has been temporarily suspended between North Ave. and Hunt Valley. Bus Shuttles are available at or near all affected stops. BY TRAIN: MARC commuter service runs from CAMDEN STATION, 301 W. Camden St., about 5 blocks from the campus. Merge onto 1-495 toward Silver Spring and follow to 1-270 N. Take the MD-28 W. Exit # 6B towards DARNESTOWN. Merge onto W. Montgomery Ave./MD-28 W. Turn LEFT onto Darnestown Rd. Turn LEFT onto ShadyGrove Rd. Turn RIGHT onto Gudelsky Way. Turn LEFT onto Gudelsky Dr. Building I is visible first and Building II is located directly behind it. Free parking is available. (Call Center for more detailed information.) From Baltimore and other points North: Take 1-95 S. toward Washington, D.C. Take the 1-495 W. exit toward US 1/College Park/Silver Spring. Merge onto the Capital Beltway (1-495) and proceed to 1-270 N. Proceed according to the instructions given above. From Hagerstown/Frederick and other points West: Follow 1-70 E. to 1-270 S. Take 1-270 to Exit 8 Shady Grove Road West. Go 1.5 miles, cross Route 28/Darnestown Road. Turn RIGHT onto Gudelsky Way. Turn LEFT onto Gudelsky Drive. Proceed according to the instructions given above. From Annapolis and other points East: Follow US 50 W. to 1-95 N/I-495 N. toward Baltimore/Silver Spring. Merge onto Capital Beltway (1-495) and proceed to 1-270 N. Proceed according to the instructions given above. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Montgomery County's Ride-on Bus System This system is tightly integrated with the Metrorail, Metrobus and MARC commuter rail systems.
