PhD Candidate Kimberly Williams and Assistant Professor Dr. Ericka M. Lewis co-authored a new publication entitled “Stay just a little bit longer: A scoping review of foster parent engagement in the U.S.”. This study examined the modifiable factors impacting foster parent engagement (e.g., satisfaction, commitment, and retention). Findings highlight the importance of relationship building across foster care stakeholder groups. Specifically, strengthened relationships between foster parents and caseworkers improved outcomes in all components of foster care engagement.
