Endowments:
Alison L. Richman Professorship for Children, Youth and Families – This professorship endowment fund was established by MSW ’84 alum Alison and her husband, Arnold Richman, to support the research of a renowned national leader in advancing research in the study of children, youth, and families.
Alison & Arnold Richman Dean's Fund for Innovations – This endowment fund was established by MSW ’84 alum Alison and her husband, Arnold Richman, to enable the Dean to pursue new or unanticipated opportunities that strengthen the School of Social Work.
Cook Civic Warrior Endowment for the School of Social Work – This endowment fund was established by The Fund for Change to support field placements for students in SWCOS.
The Dean's Fund for Innovations – This endowment fund was established by members of the Board of Advisors to honor the School’s 50th Anniversary to provide support for faculty teaching and research activities and programs that bring visiting scholars and professionals to campus, and to enable the Dean to pursue new or unanticipated opportunities that strengthen the School.
Daniel Thursz Endowed Professorship in Social Justice – This professorship endowment fund was established by family, friends, and colleagues of School of Social Work former dean, Daniel Thursz, to support the research of the Thursz Professor.
Donna Harrington PhD Fellowship – This fellowship fund was established by friends and family members of School of Social Work former PhD Program Director Dr. Donna Harrington. This fund supports a doctoral student.
Financial Social Work Endowment – This endowment fund was established by MSW ’07 alum Meg Woodside and her husband, Sam, to support programmatic needs for the Financial Social Work Initiative.
Focused Solutions Endowment Fund – This endowment fund was established by MSW ’00 alum Janet Hosford-Lamb, the president and founder of Focused Solutions, LLC. This fund will provide programmatic support for the Behavioral Health and Well-being Lab (BHWell Lab).
Joseph Meyerhoff Memorial Endowment Fund – This endowment was established by The Joseph and Harvey Meyeroff Charitable Funds to support the Social Work Community Outreach Service (SWCOS). This gift also named the East Wing of the School in honor of Louis L. Kaplan, who was instrumental in the School being located in downtown Baltimore.
Dean Richard Barth Endowed Professorship – This professorship endowment fund was established by family, friends, and colleagues of School of Social Work former dean, Richard Barth, to support the research of a renowned national leader in children’s services.
Social Work Community Outreach Service (SWCOS) Endowment – This endowment fund was established by supporters of SWCOS, including Sue Wolman, in order to provide programmatic support for SWCOS.
