The KEEP program is a parenting skills and peer support group. KEEP provides caregivers with tools to address children's behavioral and emotional issues. It emphasizes the role of foster/kin parents as key agents of change, teaching them to create a safe environment, encourage cooperation, use behavioral strategies, set limits, and manage their own stress. The program includes active learning methods where parents practice skills in a group. (Source: KEEP Standard, Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse, 2024)
