Ulziimaa’s research is focused on early child development, parenting, child maltreatment, childhood trauma, and related treatments. Through a developmental lens, she investigates how childhood trauma disrupts critical developmental stages, with a particular emphasis on attachment formation and social-emotional development. Her work primarily aims to elucidate the complex effects of relational trauma during early childhood and to evaluate the efficacy of parent-child attachment-based treatments in addressing these issues.
