Baltimore Location Image

Our Baltimore campus at 525 West Redwood Street is in the heart of downtown where students can walk to shops, restaurants, and stadiums. The 60-credit hybrid MSW degree can be earned in 2 to 4 years. If you earned a bachelor's degree in social work within 5 years of entering our MSW program, you may be eligible to complete our 36-credit hybrid Advanced Standing program in 11 months. Our school prepares graduates to become licensed to practice social work in any state.

Students can concentrate in Leadership, Policy, & Social Change (LPSC) and/or Clinical social work.

Students are required to complete a 2-day-per-week (usually Tuesday/Thursday) practicum placement in the first year and a 3-day-per-week (usually Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) practicum placement in the advanced year. You are required to dedicate 16 to 24 hours per week to a practicum placement, usually in the daytime between 8 am-6 pm.

Our 3-year, clinically-focused 60-credit Online MSW Program has been designed for students who show a commitment to the social work field and have an interest in online learning and virtual engagement.

BSW graduates who earned their undergraduate degree in social work within the past five years are encouraged to apply to our new, clinically focused, 36-credit Online Advanced Standing Program. This 16 month program is designed to build advanced clinical skills for professional practice.

Students are required to complete a 2-day-per-week (usually Monday/Wednesday) practicum placement in the second year and a 3-day-per-week (usually Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) practicum placement in the third year. You are required to dedicate 16 to 24 hours per week to a practicum placement, usually in the daytime between 8 am-6 pm.

At this time, we will accept applicants with a Maryland address only. Preference will be given to candidates currently working in the field of social work who want to grow their skill base.
